A Message that Changes Lives

We are not simply interested in handing people some information and sending them on their way. The message of the Insight Seminar is one of hope, power, and encouragement. We don't just want to hand out technical explanations, but to let people know that they really can make their lives better!

Throughout history, there have been people who have done amazing things during even the most difficult circumstances. People who overcame physical and psychological handicaps, people who, even from prison, led movements that changed the world. We do not believe these people were somehow unusual or exceptional. What allowed them to do exceptional things was not some innate ability that some people have and others don't, but their ability to recognize that they could make a difference—even if it seemed hopeless, even if they were alone. We believe that for every sports star, every great musician, every great scientist or world leader, there are a dozen others who have the same ability, but they don't realize the difference they can make. This may be the single greatest tragedy of human existence—that so much potential is wasted because of hopelessness. We want everyone to learn how they can make a difference; they can become agents of change.
